US-VISIT Biometrics Exit Process

Yesterday Department of Homeland Security officials testified before the Congress regarding the US-VISIT biometrics exit process.  The DHS plans to go forward with implementing the US-VISIT exit process at U.S. airports and require foreign travelers to provide their biometrics when leaving the U.S.  DHS plans to publish regulations regarding the biometric exit procedures. Currently, biometrics (fingerprints and a digital photo) are required upon entering the U.S.
